Objectives for 2010-2011

President Mike Griffin has set the Objectives for San Juan Rotary Club for 2010-2011.
THE ROTARY FOUNDATION
- Contribute $2000 to the 2010-11 Challenge Goal for Polio Eradication
- Contribute an average of $175 per member to the Annual Programs Fund
INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
- Request the International Committee to conduct a survey of all club members regarding their personal priorities for an International Project and anticipated level of participation. Apply the results of the survey to identify future International Projects.
- Review needs of Casa Hogar and identify specific funding objective.
- Meet with Rotarians from San Felipe Club to review possible projects that may lead to an "Adopt a Village" model.
- Conduct at least three Fellowship Events.
- All members should serve on at least one committee and work at least two events.
- Request the Club Service Committee to conduct a community needs survey, in order to identify potential future local projects.
- Fund and staff the Annual Spelling Bee
- Distribute dictionaries to all 3rd grade students on San Juan (if not served by the Grange), Lopez, and Orcas Islands.
- Identify local recipient(s) of Concours d'Elegance proceeds.
- Generate $6000 net profit from Rock the Dock.
- Promote and staff the Concours d' Elegance.
- Increase net membership by at least two members.
- Earn the R I Presidential Citation Award for our Club.
- All Board members attend the District Assembly.
- At least 30% of members attend the District Conference.
- At least 15% of members attend the R I Convention.
