Robert Dash, Orcas Island resident, educator, photographer and naturalist, presented a spell-binding presentation of his intriguing photographs captured with the use of FH Lab's electron microscope, images of everyday foods and nature surrounding us. Look for his latest article in National Geographic (Feb 2022) and forthcoming book, "FOOD FOR THOUGHT Microviews of Substance: Threats and Prospects". SJIMA had an exhibition in 2019 based on this book. In closing, Dash stated "Having a healthy ecosystem, creating biodiversity, repairing soil with agricultural practices, all will help cool local climate and lead to improved water dynamics in atmosphere. http://www.robertdashphotography.com
