Our guest speaker, Randall K. Gaylord, SJC Prosecuting Attorney and author of explanatory statements of CRC Propositions 1 - 6 (located in the Voters' Pamphlet for General Election of November 2) gave us a brief history of why we have a charter (he was involved in its initiation) current review of the charter commission, its limitations, and propositions considered but eliminated. Randy took time to top off Jack's coffee, helping us stay alert to all the charter details!
