Friday Harbor, Washington

The Sports Car Club of the San Juan Islands in conjunction with the Rotary Club of San Juan Island will hold its eighth Annual Concours d’Elegance at the San Juan Vineyards on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

This year, the Concours will consist of a “Judged” section and a “Display Only” section. All vehicles will be eligible for three “People’s Choice” awards.

Last years’ event drew 87 entrants and we expect a similar number this year. The featured marqué for 2014 will be the Chevrolet Corvette, in honor of the recent C7 introduction.

The entrant fee is $35.00 for “Display Only” cars, $50.00 the “Judged” category and $15.00 for Motorcycles. These fees include an entrance donation for two people and an event poster by Island artist Ary Hobbel. A fee of $20.00 will be charged for each additional vehicle entered. Register by mail prior to August 18, after that register at the gate.

Spectators are welcome with free General Admission although a voluntary tax-deductible contribution of $10.00 is encouraged.

For those interested in making a weekend of it, activities for Entrants and Car Club Members will include a BBQ lunch on Saturday, August 23 to welcome our off-island Entrants.
