North Delta Rotary Charitable Foundation
PURPOSES
The purposes of the North Delta Rotary Charitable Foundation recognize the Objects of Rotary and the Avenues of Service of Rotary International, particularly for the relief of poverty and to advance education, and specifically the following:
(a) To administer and conduct a program or programs to provide, without charge, food and other necessities of life to families in need in Delta, British Columbia, and including the delivery of the food;
(b) To advance education by providing learning materials to school children and to adults for employment skills training, and including installing and/or equipping and supplying materials to libraries or similar facilities in First Nations communities in British Columbia;
(c) To advance education by providing bursaries, scholarships, or other forms of financial assistance to secondary or post-secondary students in British Columbia;
(d) To receive and maintain a fund or funds and to apply all of the principal and income therefrom, from time to time, to qualified doners as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada), to assist with programs for the relief of poverty and/or for the advancements of education in British Columbia.”
