The Rotary Club of Wahpeton-Breckenridge is proud to announce support for the Annual 4-Way Test Essay Contest.
The essay can be of any topic, specific or general, that interests the student. The student will apply the principles of the 4-Way test and how it can be applied to express the the view of the student writer.
The contest is open to Juniors and Seniors in high school. Essays must be between 500-1000 words, double-spaced and typewritten. Applicants must include all four principles of the 4-Way Test to be eligible for prizes.  Entrants must attach the signature portion of the attached guideline to acknowledge the principles and contest criteria.
Entries are due to the club by December 4th, 2018 so they can be evaluated by the review committee.
The committee will select 3 essays and locally award 1st Place - $200, 2nd Place - $150 and 3rd Place - $100.  
The first place essay will be submitted to Rotary District 5580 by December 31, 2018 to compete for the Grand Prize of $1,250.
The top three place winners will be invited to read their essays at a Rotary luncheon and are given an opportunity to answer questions about their topic and interest.
