SERGEANT’s Session :
Graeme Sansom was Sergeant and assisted by Corporal John Lindquist this evening. Graeme did not adjust his technique to reflect
the new regime of fewer fines but larger $5 fines. Hence the Club coffers were greatly enriched this evening with the following fines
being administered.
Geoffrey Cahif – Birthday celebrations.
Gary Dienhoff – wedding anniversary.
Wine Table- $5 each which the table members pointed out was more than the wine was worth. Life can be tough sometimes.
Graeme Sansom-imposed a self-fine for being ruthless and overbearing for which there seemed to be a great deal of support from
members.
Russel Hawkins- observed carrying out building maintenance inspections on his property.
Kent Warburton-for pruning his roses so early.
Graeme Sansom-new car fine, although Graeme did not think $5/wheel was playing cricket.
All Old Aquinians- because their old school football team won a game. This includes Brian English, Craig James & Anthony McGrath.
John Martin-As a long term supporter of the Liberals, he must take responsibility for the poor standing of the State leader.
John Lindquist-for allowing Chemist Warehouse to gain such a dominant position in the market.
Jock Laurie-as a retired stockbroker who watches the market closely, he should have informed the Club of the recent strong surge in
the price of Silver so we could all benefit.
John McKinnon- for being seen out shopping whilst his wife, Beth, was out on the golf course.
John Martin- for winning the football competition.
John Hopkins- for his improved dress standard at tonight’s meeting.
Jason Van Straalen- for not giving his wife a night off by bringing his newborn child to the Rotary meeting.
Brian English – Just because.
Kevin Jackson – for trying to influence the Sergeant this evening. Obviously, it did not work.
