PRESIDENT’S REPORT: (Jason van Straalen)
Peter Robertson prepared this to help with ideas for what you might say to someone you may think would make a great new member:

The Rotary Club of Dalkeith is your local chapter Rotary, a global humanitarian organisation whose goal is to make the world a better place and improve the lives of those less fortunate. We do that by giving our time, effort and resources to people and communities in need.

We have about 60 members of all ages, both men and women, some actively in the business community, some retired or semi-retired, but all keen to make a positive difference in the world.

Every year we raise and donate about $100,000 worth of help in money or in kind, as well as the benefits of our pooled knowledge, connections and problem-solving know-how.

We meet weekly on a Monday night over dinner at the Nedlands Golf club. We are a well-organised club. If you'd like to make a difference in the world, if you think you'd like to help make a difference, we'd love you to come along and have dinner with us on a Monday night in the next couple of weeks. How about it?
