Club Forum:    Pres   John Bolto
John circulated his “Why Rotary & Why Meetings” result sheets from the last Forum.
Some ideas and comments from various members follow;
  • We should get a better alignment of vision of what we do as a club.
  • Committee meeting should talk about our vision
  • Two big projects that we have been doing are coming to an end.  What do we want to do now?  Please bring your ideas for projects to us.
  • Consider taking on a Big Project
  • How do we Fundraise outside the club?  The Science & Engineering Challenge shows that we CAN do it!
  • Do we need to change our Committee Structure so that we have Club Admin & then Project Committee(s)?
  • Look at allocating people to where they want to go.
  • Note that the current Committee Structure is so the Board gets feedback.
  • Look at a re-vamp of Club events so that they don’t get stale.
  • Look to do other things with other Rotary Clubs - power in collaboration.
