John Thornton - The Thingamejig Award (no, it’s not a tuna, that’s a fish)
Jill Elias - Dr of Letters for publication of the most letters
Mike Snell - The Steve Jobs Award for buggering up our EFTPOS machine
Richard Gorham - The Paupers Award For emptying a Good Sammy’s bin
Graeme Sansom - The Mark Twain Award For being able to create stories on members from very little information
Bob Davis – The Philanthropists Award For his generosity in virtually giving his yacht to Sailibility

Lindsay Dry gave a lovely toast to the Club. Graeme Sansom thanked our guest speaker. John Martin was the only foundation member present, and he brought as his guests his wife Cherry and Elizabeth Barnes, aka Lizzi Bee, our flower sponsor, whose father Keith had been a member of Dalkeith.

Brigadier Brett Chaloner was our very special guest speaker. He mightn’t have recruited many, but the message of the good works and service of the Army in Western Australia will be spread. His speech was thought-provoking, but hopeful and inspiring.
