- $60 billion on Australian goods and services on Gorgon and Wheatstone
- Provided 1000 contracts to Australian businesses
At full capacity, both projects will provide a combined 500Tj/d of gas equalling nearly 50% of the current WA domestic supply
From 2016-2050 it is estimated Chevron will have generated
- 2600 jobs per annum
- $239 Billion in Tax payments
- $687 Billion boost to Australia’s GDP
Beyond LNG Chevron support our local communities in areas such as driving engagement in STEM, Aboriginal and Gender inequality, health and wellbeing, sustainable communities and delivering a lower carbon future.
Chevron, in different formats, has been in Australia for nearly 70 years starting in WA with West Australian Petroleum (WAPET).
