SPEAKER: (Andrew MacKellar) – introduced by Ken Ilett
Andrew is the Junior Parent Representative at the Nedlands Yacht Club. He inducts new junior members and their parents. Began sailing in Port Hedland, and trailed a yacht to Perth with his father for State Championships from NYC. His family involvement at the Club began in 2020. The Club operates several classes of yachts. Sail training during school holidays for ‘Tackers’.
The Club is planning a new Sail Training Centre to replace the current 70 year old original Clubhouse.
Equal opportunity activities are encouraged, and planning for future world class facilities.
The Club offers affordable membership for a diverse range of members, both sailing and non-sailing events for the community.
Partnership opportunities are available.
