Rotary Kowloon Golden Mile actioned again last Friday 11th September, 2020 led by DG Eric Chak, AG Derrick and our President Gautam together with Past Presidents including Nanu, Elissa, Neerja and her friend, Ebe and Sam, Rtn Brian, and Community Service Director Silva Yeung.

We took off at Holiday Inn Kowloon Golden Mile made the stop at first NGO,IDEAL Parents Association, which is an self help group formed by parents with intellectual disabled handicapped with over ,300 family membership, KGM offer them 2,000 masks to their members.

Two cars and a van took off immediately went to Lok Chi Association for the Handicapped Youth which is located at Tai Wor Hou Tsuen Wan. We were welcomed by groups of young members and their parents through watching a short video of the program provide to their 700 members. DG, AG, President Gautam and all Kowloon Golden Mile Rotarians did not seem to want to leave as we all look like good friend reunion.

It took us almost 30 minutes drive to Tin Shui Wai Weman Association from Tuen Wan. 

 

Our club prepared 6,000 masks to their members , and 500 kg rices to 100 families. 

 

During a short ceremony, DG Eric, President Gautam gave their speech to show Rotary Cares our community and President Gautam thank the agency give KGM an opportunity to serve our needed no matter how far they are living.

 

Here PP Nanu met his old friend Ms. Kwong who is he Chairlady of the agency.

 

After photos were taken, we began to pass the well prepared gifts to the members one by one. 

Rotarians ended the day at 4:30pm before the sunset.
