TOPIC: "IMMIGRATION: where do we go from here?"
SPEAKER: Richard Alanthwaite is the VP of CanAm Enterprises Hong Kong, which promotes and administers immigration-linked investment funds.
BACKGROUND : Richard worked in the business immigration section of the Canadian consulate in Hong Kong from 1981 to 1989. Prior to that he spent from 1979 to 1981 in the visa division in Islamabad, Pakistan. In 1989, he and his business-partner, established VISA Immigration Limited, a Hong Kong company which focused on Canadian immigration issues. Mr. Alanthwaite owned and operated that company for over 22 years. Richard holds Bachelor degrees in Chemical Engineering (Waterloo) and Education (New Brunswick)
