The daffodil competition has started and the first entry is very formidable. When John Sutton moved into Mossbrae Irene gave him a flower pot with a bulb in it. John has nurtured it with great care and produced this wonderful bloom.  Congratulations John we hope to see you back at Rotary.
While the outdoor plants will not be as advanced as John's there are two main sections, 'indoor pot', and 'outdoor garden' sections, plus an extra section for cheats. There is no section for bulbs still in the plastic bag.

We are getting the details of how the competition will be run so no doubt you are all watching with interest the progress of your flower and protecting it from the riggers of a Spring weather event.
What we have in mind is when your bloom reaches it's best , you take a photo on your cell phone, click on share and email to <mosgielrotaryclub@gmail.com> simple.
We intent to have a club night later in the year and display the photos no names attached and have club members by popular vote pick the winners.  (chocky fish prize)
