All over NZ, this month people are hosting roasts, on behalf of Ronald McDonald House. It is such a good concept - we go out and have fun, someone provides the food and the rest enjoy it for the price of a donation to Ronald McDonald House.
Attendees will be texted their venue on Friday evening and will head out on Saturday night for the night. Some have asked "can we bring something" the answer is "thank you but no!" All you need to bring is a donation per person to Ronald McDonald house of $20 or more, bring some refreshments if you would like to and enjoy the night.
You can either take cash along or pay your donation into our Mosgiel Rotary Charitable Trust account

Mosgiel Rotary Host a Roast got off to an early start with Irene doing a test run last Saturday night with some of her friends. Julie Woods well known Dunedin personality www.thatblindwoman.co.nz attended and took the opportunity to help boost her goal of writing 1 million names in braille. Julie's 11,222nd name was Ronald Mcdonald House. I think we could get Julie to write all our names in Braille and help her get closer to her target.
All funds raised at our Host a Roast will go to Ronald McDonald House and they have been thrilled that we have come on board.
