GOOD SOCIAL EVENT
A great turnout of members and friends enjoyed this morning's social get together with plenty of time for a good yarn with no procedures or programmes to interfere. The scones with cream jam and coffee were really good, and social distancing did not distract from the occasion.
Thanks Danna for organising it again it was well worth the effort.

Date: - Wednesday. 23rd September  (that is next Wednesday)

All candidates for the new Taieri Electorate will be attending. This should be a good night and an opportunity to hear first hand, from those wanting to represent us in Wellington.   Invite friends, neighbours, colleagues to join us.   This is an example of Rotary in Action in our community.  Danna would like members to turn up earlier to help with crowd control.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
RYLA is a five-day residential high energy programme designed to develop young leaders between the ages of 20 and 29.  The RYLA programme recognises, encourages, and educates current and future leaders by offering them this intensive leadership experience. The programme demonstrates Rotary's commitment to developing leaders.  This is an awesome programme for young people.

The club is looking for candidates to apply for 2021 RYLA.  If you know of any young person who would benefit from such an experience please contact John Seddon or Margie Murray for the application form.
