CLUBRUNNER UPGRADE
MY CLUBRUNNER  NEW

Please take time to open clubrunner on your computer and check the new up-market "My Clubrunner" programme which is really very smart.
You should and will be impressed at how much information is so easily available, and so easy to find. Regardless of what position you hold in the club be it an ordinary member or a club officer you will find it easy to use. The mobile app is still the same but the new My Clubrunner programme available on your computer is worth looking at. Just use your usual log-in details and you will get a personal welcome, and then scroll down the page through the range of sections. This does not conflict with "My Rotary" which is the Rotary International (R I )programme, but complements it for club administration.

Firewood Update,

Graeme Wallace (John’s son) has kindly offered the club logs for firewood, from the farm at east Taieri. Once the weather has settled down, we will be looking to ring the logs and transport back to Margie and Donald’s for splitting. Stuart will give a further update to when this will take place.

Host a roast in July
Saturday 25th July is the night you can head out for Host a Roast
A good number of people have signed up but if you ring Irene she may still fit you in?

WHAT IS HOST A ROAST? - You commit to hosting a meal at your home and those attending pay $20 each to attend the night, all that money going to Ronald McDonald House.  This does not need to be exclusively for Rotarians and you may like to host and invite neighbours or other friends to join in.
For those that were not at Rotary this week, who would like to join in, we will send the clipboard round again next week, or you can email Irene to put your name on the list.
It will be a great night out for a very good cause.

Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a stroke of luck: ( If you had someone doing your grocery shopping during shut-down you will know how true this is.

Club news
It is a relief that our club can now have face-to-face meetings again, and timely that this happened just in time for the new season.
But let’s not forget about everything we learnt during the lockdown period, and the weeks in which we had to “meet” in other ways. Embracing new technology skills and using them as we go forward is important. Mix up the club experience with the occasional Zoom meeting.

"Down Under", Highlights
This magazine is a great promotional tool for Rotary and for our club. It is a publication full of all the wonderful things that Rotary does.
Why not give our speakers a copy to take away with them, it’s a great way for them to find out more about Rotary and all that we have achieved.
If you receive a copy and it’s in good order you could arrange with Speaker’s coordinators
