New year greetings
Congratulations if your reading this you have made it to 2018, let's set our sights on 2019 and enjoy the journey. Happy new year!

This is a wake-up for the Rotary restart on Monday the 22nd January.
No formal speaker has been arranged so it will be a social evening for members to share their Christmas/holiday stories  round the tables. Anyone with a really exciting story please ask for the Mic and share it with all the members. Neville will present a chocolate fish for the best story. (Neville please note) To keep us all informed Fraser will give a short explanation on the Mosgiel off/on  SH 1 ramps  improvements planned.

Farewell to Seba
   Message from Merv.: -

A few photos of Seba’s last days before flying home. He was quite emotional about leaving.
I think the club would agree that h
e was a well respected exchange student who really enjoyed his time in Mosgiel.
Photos below: - Seba with his extended Kiwi family,  kind and generous hosts and happy to be associated with one of our Dunedin Icons.
Run the runway

The run was held at the crack of dawn on Sunday  January 28th 2018. The Run started at 6.15am
This is a joint community effort and got excellent support.
It was great to see so many members turning out at the airport by 5.30 am for duty
About 120 people took the opportunity to run or walk the runway and Irene was pleased with the support.
MTF Dunedin South a committed supporter, of the pool project ran a successful BBQ in the  car park.
While I'm not aware of the  final amount  I think over $6000.00 was raised

Thanks to all the members and supporters who made the effort.
