Another minutes silence, this time for our friend John Sutton who died last Monday 26th February. Our deepest Sympathy goes out to Fiona and the Sutton family who have been so dedicated to John's intensive care for many months. John and Fiona joined our club in 2006 and until ill health intervened both were active members and it is hoped that Fiona will now resume her regular attendance. John was a good farmer who farmed some of Otago's more challenging country. He was a town boy who was determined to be a successful farmer and after working on a number of farms purchased his own block of land in the Macraes district, and fulfilled his dream. He and Fiona retired from the farm some years ago, to enjoy an easier life in Mosgiel.
