URGENT MESSAGE

President Neville is still looking for a President Elect he is sure there is someone out there who

is the right person to have a go.You won't be alone the club will give you all the support you

need.

Spoke to John van Delft the other day he is recovering slowly after the fall off the ladder without

using the rungs. From all members we wish all others not well at the moment a speedy recovery.

As some members seemed to have missed the details in last weeks bulletin and in the interest in having a fully informed membership it has been included again this week.

Morning coffee with Danna

A good sized group of us enjoyed a Coffee and a snack at Aurora Cafe this morning and we had a good chat for about an hour. Time just flew!

It was a totally relaxed morning and topics were discussed as they came up. Wendy who owns the cafe was delighted to have us in and made us welcome. The coffee was very good.

We thank Danna for hosting it and no doubt she will send out a message when she feels or it is suggested that we should have another one. This sort of thing was a first for some of us but it is something we will learn to look forward to

Some of us considered coffee mornings are a ladies thing,but the boys outnumbered the girls this morning, just.

Thanks Danna.

Run the runway

The run was held at the crack of dawn on Sunday January 28th 2018. The Run started at 6.15am

This is a joint community effort and got excellent support.

It was great to see so many members turning out at the airport by 5.30 am for duty

About 120 people took the opportunity to run or walk the runway and Irene was pleased with the support.

MTF Dunedin South a committed supporter, of the pool project ran a successful BBQ in the car park.

While I'm not aware of the final amount I think over $6000.00 was raised

Thanks to all the members and supporters who made the effort.
