As I write "From the Editor" piece for the weeks bulletin, I hear that Mosgiel & Dunedin will be receiving 3 months of rain over 12 hour period, sand bags are being deployed, rivers rising, roads closed; please stay safe and dry everyone. Donald and I are thinking of you all. Today was our last day with our home away from home Rotary Club, Burleigh Heads, as we said farewell and gave a brief presentation on our clubs activities, I realised how busy, active and productive we are. It wasn't until I started to pull together photos and information on our activities, from fund-raising to social events, it reminded me what an awesome club we are and what we do for our community. To everyone congratulations on our club achievements as we are doing an awesome job as Rotarians. Look forward to seeing everyone on 14 October. |
