CAPTAIN'S LOG.
From your President
CAPTAINS LOG
The Morning After
I am sitting having my second cup of coffee and eating my Rotary biscuit, thinking about last night’s changeover. The highlight was the welcoming smiles on the Rotarians and partners. I looked around and it dawned on me I was going to be President of Mosgiel Rotary. What amazing group of people they all are and so willing to back me and support me this year. The entertainment was great the enthusiasm of the singers spread over the audience.
A special thanks to Peter Chin leading us in singing Christmas carols, especially the “12 days of Christmas”. It will never be the same again for me.
I knew then it was going to be a memorable night.
Today I read Tania Lowery - District Governor 2019-2020 last newsletter. It was announced the appointment of Jan Boustead, from the Rotary Club of Lincoln, District 9970, as the first District Governor for District 9999 for 2022-23.

Stay warm!
Kind regards,

Graeme
