Details are now confirmed for our Meet the Candidates Evening. Due to public demand, we will be including candidates for the Mosgiel Taieri Community Board. This will mean time will be tight, but we have learnt in other years that it is amazing how much you can glean from listening to someone for 2 minutes. We will end the evening with supper and hopefully, that will allow time for people to speak one on one with candidates. With 40 candidates for DCC and 12 for the community board, that is quite a line-up.
We won't be asking individual candidates questions this year. In the past, it has been unwieldy and hasn't really given us much insight. We feel our time is better spent observing and listening to the candidates present their own pitches.
