Now it's up to the younger generation
The Grow-house is finished, the plants, pots and compost delivered, now it is up to the young gardeners of the Silverstream Primary School to grow the 400-450 plants on to planting size. Many of the plants are already of a good size and have been potted in 2 Litre pots, the smaller ones into 1 Litre pots. With regular watering they should thrive for planting up later in the year.

Nicola Foot of the ORC has organised a suitable site along puddle alley for the planting. Before the next stage of planting, weed mats and plant guards will need to be purchased to give them a good start. See photos attached.
