''HELP PLEASE!!!
I came across The BIG STONE the other day and being new to the area wondered how many of our members even knew it existed and where. I would be interested to know if anybody can help me with anything about it so I can write a little story about one of our landmarks so close to Mosgiel and any theories as to how it got where it is. I have discussed the matter with two of our members who I was sure would know all about it, but no, they couldn't help. One had walked around it all his life and the other had driven past it a thousand times and hadn't taken any notice.
