During this year we have been developing our social media more as a tool for fundraising and information
We  are getting close to 1000 followers on facebook and our sales of lilies and Tulips last year were really
effective and easy to manage using the facebook platform
Last Christmas we advertised our salmon and venison packages and picked up some new customers so this
should continue to evolve
Our Facebook page now has a banner each month showing what the international theme is and I’m trying to
include clips and info of interest relating to the theme when possible
Local content has the best traction with our followers
Our email address is being used more as a point of contact and we are getting grant applications and other
requests regularly
This year we upgraded the organisation advertising stand at Z station, it is still a good point of visibility – it will
need to be updated again as Taieri have moved the venue.
We have utilised social media more for the Book sale in 2023 but it is also clear that the ODT back page is the
place to capture book readers
We now have a list of booksellers that we give prior notice of the book sale too, which worked well in 2023
The coffee mornings have potential to raise our profile too as more visual to locals than our normal meetings
