Notes from October Directors Meeting
 
  • PETS  - Presidents Elect Training
Our President Elect, Stuart Officer will be attending the PETS training meeting later in the year. This training  will provide Stuart with the opportunity to gain Rotarian presidential ideas and strategies.
 
  • Funding Applications.
The Directors have recommended a funding application from Mosgiel Playcentre for a new sandpit cover.
  • Summer timetable
Monday 19th October will be our first night of our summer timetable, Merv sent a projects list around at last meeting, there are 5 projects that will operate that evening, from firewood, potting plants through to sorting books.  If you are unable to help on the night, please feel welcome to remain at Burns lodge for a tea or coffee to enjoy fellowship.
 
  • Amendment to the summer timetable: 
30th November - No official partners nights – The directors felt it was too close to Christmas function.  Please remember partners are welcome any time to join a meeting, simply advise John Seddon for catering purposes.
7th December – Christmas Function.  RSVP date will be advised soon.
14th December – ½ yearly AGM

Application close 20th December, we currently have 2 potential applicants and welcome more.

Although we have a good line up of speakers that are booked to present to the club, if anyone have any speaker suggestions (and contacts) please contact Stuart Officer.
