Foster Hope Appeal.
Some time ago we had a visit from Juanita Williems from Foster hope committee dealing with the work they do in support of children who are taken into care.
Recently Juanita has posted a request for support to meet current needs. She is asking for donations of new winter pyjamas for boys and girls aged 0 to 12 yeaars.
Also needed is supplies of shampoo. Since Jill anounced the appeal on Monday some members have discussed the request and have suggested that our trust could well consider funding a donation. It has been suggested making an approach to the warehouse to ask if say the trust donated $1000.00 would they give a discount for the supply of suitable clothes.
Jill will suggest to Juanita she make an application to the trust, and it will be over to the Trustees to decide whether they support the suggestion and by how much.
The Foster Hope work is worthy of community support and our Club raises funds for that purpose.
