Rotary has once again enjoyed another successful year supporting literacy in our community by providing dictionaries to Year 4 students at local Taieri schools. All of the dictionaries have now been distributed, continuing a long-standing Rotary initiative that encourages learning and curiosity among young students. The dictionaries were warmly received by both the students and teaching staff, who appreciate the value of having a personal reference book to support classroom learning and reading at home. It is always rewarding for Rotary members to see the enthusiasm these gifts generate each year.
