Changeover night proved to be in a great venue - the Taieri Bowling Club with about 45 members, partners and friends attending.
Stuart Officer, the outgoing president welcomed everyone including guests - Peter and Pariya Williams and Stuart’s daughter Kelsey, visiting before going back to Europe.
One really important function for Stuart was to award the “Jock Henwood trophy”. The worthy recipient this year was Kevin Dale for his outstanding work behind the scenes, especially the annual Book Sale, building shelves, sorting books, making signs etc. - Well done Kevin.
Our theme was “A day at the races." Lea and Dave judged the best dressed man for the occasion
The winning post was Jockey complete with horse - John Seddon as a jockey and the most elegantly dressed lady was Claire Banks. International President, Jennifer Jones expounded via video what Rotarians aim to achieve.
