Two minute spot – Susie Bearman shared a story she had heard about the Stirling Cheese Factory. A block (20kg) of cheddar was chosen from the production line and sent to the 2018 World Championship Cheese Contest in the USA. This cheese competed against cheeses especially developed for the contest and the exciting thing is that the Stirling cheese was runner-up for its three-to-six cheddar. The unsalted butter also won runner-up in its category – an outstanding result for a small cheese factory from South Otago, New Zealand!
