Kia Ora and happy new year to you all. We completed last year with a pot luck meal at our place and I think was a pleasant evening.

I'm not sure if any are aware but Marty Clark and myself have committed to the Dunedin North Rotary project organised by Les Wilson and others to build a new classroom in Vanuatu this will happen in April and Les was thrilled to get two builders albeit one f them a bit broken down!

We are also starting a very busy season with tramping and biking and thankyou all who have committed.

First Meeting for 2023

New Year greetings to you all. I hope you have all had some rest and relaxation, and great family time, over the break.

Due to the Kink in the Road not being available on 30 January, the first meeting for this year is this coming Monday, 23 January.

Please let Kerry know, by mid-day Monday, if you are unable to attend.

Tramping Club - it has been a great start to the season - the lower South Island has certainly been the place to be in terms of the weather this summer break.

The following trips have occurred, or are still occurring, in January:

6-11 January 2023 - Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail

14-18 January 2023 - Catlins/Tautuku Lodge

8-12 January 2023 - Milford Track

13-17 January 2023 - Mt Aspiring Lodge
