Presidents message;

Happy New Year Milton Rotarians, hopefully you have had a chance to enjoy some good weather with family and friends while we had it. We have been in Omarama for an annual holiday. The photo is of a friends son and I with a 3.45kg salmon caught on a beautiful day on Lake Benmore.

Our first meeting is on Monday 25 January; Jim has organised Jules Radich to speak about the camera being installed at the Taieri Mouth river bar. It will be interesting to hear the details.

The Mosgiel Rotary Club is running the “Run the Runway” again on the Runway at Dunedin Airport on Saturday 13 February at 8.00pm. The Youth Adventure Trust is going to be the beneficiary of the funds raised. Please feel free to pass the link below onto anyone who maybe interested. You must pre register, have photo ID and your registration number to get access to the runway and be part of the run/ walk.

RYLA Update: unfortunately we were unable to find a local to support for RYLA. After being approached by the District Coordinator Directors have agreed to support a RYLA applicant from Invercargill. Lucy Coutts works for Market South following completing a Batchelor of Commerce with Honours in Marketing Management at Otago University. We look forward to meeting Lucy following RYLA.

Rotary District Conference 2021

Our team are very excited about the event we are putting together for you all, and have tried to make it as affordable as possible by keeping the registration cost to $150pp and we also have some home hosted opportunities :)

We are hoping people will register early to help assist with planning. Families welcome :)
