September 25th provided us with a beautiful evening to gather at the Rotary picnic shelter in Broadway Park for a barbecue social. Brian T. brought the barbecues, which were ably staffed by Brian and Ryan W. The club provided hamburgers and hot dogs with club members bringing various dishes that filled our plates to overflowing. At least one Sunrise club member was spotted at the gathering (Rod Scheel), as was our Exchange Student Cande and all her host families: Brian and Danielle T., Dan and Tonya Zierden with their daughter Brooke and Lisa McFarland with spouse Shane and daughters Amelia and Maggie. It was a good time! |
