Pete Wasberg offered our invocation and Wally Cole was our song leader.  Honorary Member Elaine Olson was in attendance.  Randy Kempfer said that all money had been turned into him by the start of the meeting and funds for all lugs had been received.  We were also told the Rotary Open netted just over $3,000 for our club.  President Dan Johnson inducted new member Ken Harty.  Kathy Austvold passed around a sign-up sheet for program responsibilities for October through June.  President Dan also announced a Board meeting on September 18th at 11:00 a.m. 

 

Greg Darling, back from Indianapolis and an American Legion 100th year anniversary celebration, paid for missing our picnic and having to leave early.  Ken Harty contributed for his welcome as a new member and David Johnson encouraged attendance at this past weekend's festivities in Dalton.  We then had a discussion about ways we can publicize our own upcoming 100th anniversary; a more complete summary will follow.
