President Lori started the day with a welcome and the Pledge. We recited the Four-Way Test before Kieth Olson gave an invocation.
Dean Monke introduced out High School choir members. Since four sopranos were not at school today there was some improvising. We had a beautiful solo by a very talented Julie Swanson to start things off, with a piano accompaniment by Mrs. Trosvig. After Julie's solo we had the Mens Concert Choir let by Mr. Froiland, with 14 in the group. They had two songs for us, one of which was a “Deck the Halls” rendition in more of a hip hop flava with beat box accompaniment. (For those who were able to listen to Bing Crosby or Burl Ives, live, that was the kid spitting in the mic).
Once the Musical program was excused we proceeded to get down to business. Some Announcements:

Brags, Fines, Etc.:
Bob bragged for Pepe who was one of the Captains of his Football team (Chiapas Osso’s) as they won the state championship, even Bob ribbing him that Pepe’s beloved Patriots lost the last couple of games could not steal the joy from Pepe.
Keith bragged about Julie Swanson’s amazing performance and about his own joy in being a Grandfather to a newborn baby girl her name is Clair Noel- welcome Clair! That makes 2 newborns in the Olson family in the last month.
Tim Hunt let us know why he was unable to make it to Wine Down Wednesday: Desta has had health issues and after multiple trips to the hospital and E.R. they found out that she had a stroke. She is doing great but we will keep them in our prayers.
Anthony was a big spender of the day, he antied up for missing a few meetings and was soliciting for Rotarian Dollars to be put into the Kettel, remember they will be matched by another donor. He also mentioned that his young daughter was enjoying a nice leisurely read through The Rotarian, Im sure it was relaxing after having to deal with her parents all day.
Steve Carignan mentioned he was in Salt Lake City Utah for the Army, SLC sits on the 3rd largest fault line in the US. He also mentioned he joined Rotary in hopes that we as a club will do something significant to help others.
Bob challenged us to find new members and has hopes that we will have better attendance than we have had lately.
Lori also Missed Wine Down Wednesday, she ended up at Mayo Clinic for an angiogram. Her heart is doing well -- just some minor abnormalities that they are keeping an eye on.
Please keep Gene Manning in your thoughts and prayers; we had word that he may be dealing with some heath issues as well this Holiday Season.
