Steve L. offered our invocation and after the other normal opening festivities President Katie welcomed Exchange Student Candi to the meeting. Dave Johnson then introduced our three Student Guests, all seniors from our high school. Logan Larson, son of Randy and Lori (former Rotarian) Larson, has plans to attend Itaska Community College. I did not catch the names of Karlie Petersen's parents; she plays softball and will be going to UND, with occupational therapy her chosen career. Kristian Fransen, son of Jon and Thea, played football and will be attending the U of M in Morris.  Steve L. led off the brags, saying his grandson in Alexandria is on a team that made the national robotics competition. Tim H. was happy to report a granddaughter is graduating from the University of North Carolina and made it into an academic sorority. Keith O. was back from a week in Montana where he shot some prairie dogs. Kathy A. contributed for her brag the prior week and Holly W. thanked Brian T. and Jamie L. for helping her with the technology for her classification talk. For our program, Holly Wilson gave her classification talk but I was listening on an old computer and had great difficulty in catching her words. As a result, I cannot offer a summary of her remarks, for which I apologize. |
