Our thanks to those who volunteered for the Heart Kids Remembrance Tree at A Very Welly Christmas Festival?

Rotarians are tough - it was a nine-sandbag wind and the Sunday parade was cancelled, because of the weather, but it's all in a good cause. Particular thanks to organiser, Jean Phipps.

Can you help the City Mission to provide hygiene products?

The City Mission is short on hygiene products for the free supermarket. These are items that people can't afford,  when all the family money goes on rent and food. Please bring to the next two meetings - soap, washing powder, shampoos, toothbrushes, shaving things, tampons etc, even sunscreen lotion - it is going to be a hot summer.

Add one to your shopping list and bring it along.to our Christmas meeting, so we can take these to the City Mission?

Club Communication
  • The newsletter will (usually!) come out fortnightly on a Thursday
  • The  deadline for material is 1 pm on the Wednesday before the newsletter. This deadline is to allow enough time for a final check before publishing at the end of Thursday.
  • Newsletter content must be brief, and generally focused on club events coming up. This means that sometimes we have to edit information provided.
  • Some pieces that don't suit the forward focus of the newsletter can be posted on our Facebook or LinkedIn pages.
