This Friday's meeting, December 9th is at the YMCA and is the Holiday Auction. Proceeds from auction will help to fund our Holiday Families. Gifts should be wrapped and be in the $25-35 range although there will be bargains. Bring friends. It is always a fun meeting. There will be no duties for this meeting. Let's just enjoy the auction and fellowship.
The December Board meeting is on this Thursday the 8th at noon at the Bent Paddle Taproom and by Zoom.

Our guests at last week's meeting were: Our Speaker - Kala Moria, Linsey Whitlinger, Chuck Voss, Colton Suihkonen, and Students Jadyn Lind and Colton Danslski.
We inducted Linsey Whitlinger as our newest Club member. Lindsey is an Insurance Advisor for Bell Insurance. She attended CSS and graduated from UWS with a business management degree. She is a Board member of the Arrowhead Builders Association and coordinator for the Lester River Rendezvous. She lives in Lakeside and spends time at her cabin on Whiteface. Welcome Lindsey!
Garrett introduced our speaker, Kala Moria, who is a service manager for Miller Hill Subaru and a Best Christmas
Ever Team Captain. Kala explained that BCE was started in 2011 in Cloquet as a non-profit to provide a life-altering Christmas for a family who has fallen on hard times through no fault of their own. She explained that families are nominated by community members and then businesses adopt the families and provide the gifts. Joe Dusek has been involved since the start of the program which now has grown to operate in 16 states. There are follow on elements of the program with financial and nutritional training and the chance for further financial support. For further information go to www.bcemovement.org
December is Rotary Disease Prevention and Treatment Month.
