Hartel's Disposal was recently featured in the Duluthian Magazine and is a prominent business in Proctor.
This Thursday evening is Rotary at the Norshor with "Chorus Line". Pre-show party starts at 6:30 and curtain goes up at 7:30. Rotarians, family, and friends are welcome.
The Board met today. We reviewed the Peach Sale and discused ways to improve for next year. We discused the District Awards that the Club will pursue. Jim described a November 12 cooking class dinner at Duluth Grille that will be a Skyline Social.
Guests last week were Connor Doppler, Jill and Russ Gran with Clara and Arlo, Paul guest of Deb, Dan Blank and Bob McClennan from Superior Rotary. We met at the Bent Paddle Taproom for a steak barbeque. Tim filled in with the discussion about THC drinks and gummies federal legislation and its impact on Minnesota businesses.
This is the first year that Harbortown is selling Roses. They are $25/dozen. Pick up is Friday, October 16 9-6PM at Mount Royal, Miller Hill and West Duluth Super Ones and Saturday from 10-2:00 at Mount Royal.
ECO Rotary is looking for helpers at the Lake Superior Harvest Festival at Bayfront Park Saturday, September 12 from 10 AM - 4 PM.
September is Rotary Basic Education and Literacy Month.
