We WILL meet this Friday, January 5th, 2024 for our first meeting of the new calendar year at the YMCA. Our presenter will be Brian Alementi who is an inspirational speaker, leadership trainer and coach. Thank you Russ for arranging for our speaker. Duties this week are: Invocation - Kris Lee, Greeter - Greg Kaake, Fellowship - Matt Wicklund.
Next week on Tuesday the 9th is the January Board Meeting at noon at Bent Paddle and by Zoom. Lunch will be served. Every member is welcome to attend.
Next week's meeting on Friday, January 12th will be a Club Assembly. We will introduce next year's Board, review the results of a Club Survey which will be emailed out later this week and hand delivered at this Friday's meeting. We will open up for discussion and feedback from the Club to the Board on how to improve our Club experience.
January is Rotary Vocational Service Month. The concept of vocational service is rooted in the second object of Rotary which calls for Rotarians to encourage and foster: High ethical standards in business and professions, The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and The dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society.
