This Friday we will meet at the YMCA and District Governor Keith Brokke will be our guest and speaker. Please plan to attend the meeting. This will be a hybrid meeting. The Board will meet with DG Brokke at 11:30 to discuss our Club plans for the year. Please bring your peach sales money to the meeting. Duties are: Invocation - Todd Peyton, Fellowship - Jay Ferguson.
Next week's meeting will be held at the YMCA with presenter TBD.
The 2021 peach sale ended last Friday with Second Harvest picking up peaches from the refrigerated warehouse and distributing them to food shelves throughout the northland. Many Skyliners deserve great thanks for their hard work. Thanks to all who sold tickets, kept track of the money, lugged lugs, worked with and thanked our peach customers, setup and tore down the the tents at the truck site, worked the peachfest, and delivered lugs. Thanks to Matt and Tim for their support from start to finish. These activities are all part of building friendships that allow us to serve our communities locally and around the world. Rest up some and then get ready to Rock the Skyline.
The Board approved the membership application for Patricia (Trish) Crego and this is the first of two notices for her to become our newest member. Trish was sponsored by Kris Lee and they are friends through the Duluth Yacht Club. Trish works for JPJ Engineering as a landscape architect and is an instructor at the YMCA.
Superior Sunrise Rotary Club is hosting a Golf Tournament on Friday, September 10th at Nemadji in Superior. It is a 9:00 AM shotgun start. There are prizes and an after party. Who wants to join me?
