Deb has brought an exciting community project to us that will impact the children at Lakewood Elementary School.  The parents and staff have marked off an area  adjacent to the school, where they intend to fence off for a nature learning area.

This is their request of the club:

Hi!
Thank you to Deb and Todd for coming out to look at our spot on the nature trail! We appreciate it!  Deb could you pass this note on to Todd as well?
I have marked all the trees we want to keep with a green ribbon.
Anything else can be cut down and cleared out. Most of the standing trees are staying.
We would also love to keep any large trees. We would love to have them cut into chunks for seating and climbing.
Any pine trees that are marked with green we would appreciate it if they could trim off any of the dead branches so they are up off the ground.
Let us know when the dates are they can come. Pam and I would love to try to be there and also to see if we can get some more volunteers as well to help.

Thank you again for your willingness to help us out!
