This Friday, December 16th is holiday shopping which starts at Walmart at 6:00 AM and then we will meet to wrap presents and have lunch at the YMCA at noon.

 

Earl Rogers passed away on December 7th. Earl helped to Charter Skyline Rotary Club and was its first President in 1972. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Judy and their family. Visitation will be Friday December 16th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1325 N 45th Ave. East, Duluth, MN 55804 where visitation will continue Saturday, December 17th from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM service, with David Norland presiding and military honors to follow, accorded by the Duluth Honor Guard.   

 

Our guests at last week's meeting were: Judy Rogers and Students Jadyn Lind and Colton Danslski.

We started our meeting by making Judy Rogers an Honorary Member of our Club. We want her to feel honored and comfortable joining us as she wishes. We continued with remembrances of Earl. Earl touched the lives of everyone in the Club from the oldest to the newest members. Rotary was his life. 

Thank you to Joe Dusek and Rob Shamblott for making our holiday Family auction so much fun. We needed some cheer and you both gave us that. Thank you.      

  

December is Rotary Disease Prevention and Treatment Month.
