The January Skyline Board meeting is on Wednesday the 14th at noon at the Depot and by Zoom.
Congrats to Emily and the YMCA for their consolidation and renaming to the YMCA of the North.
This Monday evening was the second gathering of the Twin Ports Rotary Inter-Club Council. Some of the areas of focus are sharing resources for membership development, supporting Rotaract RYLA and other youth services, social and fellowship opportunities, and joint service projects. There is much to be gained by working together.
DGE Peter Johnson would like Clubs to be thinking about pursuing Corporate Memberships. When we think about the major employers and institutions in our communities, how many of them have members in our Clubs. We should develop a Club plan for attracting those groups including a plan that allows multiple of their members to participate in Club meetings, service projects, and fundraisers.
January is Rotary International Vocational Service Month. Vocational service means using the skills that are particular to your profession for the advancement of the goals of Rotary.
