Happy Valentine's Day
We will meet this Friday, February 16, 2024 at the YMCA. Our presenter will be Mark Boben from GND (Gary-New Duluth) Development Alliance which is working with the City and other organizations to develop a fully functioning Community Center and recreation area. Duties are: Invocation - Judy Harrison, Greeter - Mark, Fellowship - Alex Schult.
The Board met today. We are making good progress towards our 50th year goals. Kudos to the Board and the Club for all of your great work.
Russ organized a well attended, fun, and delicious dinner at the Hammond Steak House last Friday. It was great to see spouses and friends. Socializing and laughter with old and new friends was the theme of the gathering. Thank you for a great event Russ.
Greg coordinated the service project painting at St. Anne's Residence last Saturday at Skyline PP Harry Podgorski's request. We painted six resident rooms so that they can be filled.
Our Skyline Biker Group assisted with the fat tire bike riding at the Winter Out West Festival event last weekend.
February is Rotary International Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention Month. February 23rd is the 119th anniversary of the start of Rotary.
