The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.
Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.
With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.
Our mission
The mission of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
What impact can one donation have?
For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio.
$50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness.
$500 can launch an antibullying campaign and create a safe environment for children.
Rotary Supports Education
More than 775 million people over the age of 15 are illiterate. That’s 17 percent of the world’s adult population.
Rotary's goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. We support education for all children and literacy for children and adults.
Up Coming Volunteer Opportunities
If you have an idea for a service project big or small bring it to the club and we will get it done. Contact Betty with ideasbetty@akacpas.com

I like to take a moment to thank Greg Kaake for all his hard work and making this year's Paul Harris dinner a wonderful event, thank you Greg!! We appreciate all that you have done and continue to do for our club.
Russ, thank you for being our MC, keeping us all laughing and on task during this event!! Earl, thank you for putting together a thoughtful invocation. Mark, thank you for hosting our guest speaker, Monica Kinyua. And last but not least, thank you to Deb for getting the decorations and Judy for displaying the decorations prior to the event.
It was nice to see so many, not just from our club but other local clubs, attend this year.
Thank you again Greg, this would not have happened without your dedication.
