No Duties this week. 

 

The May Board meeting is next Tuesday the 13th at noon at MPECU. 

 

Next week Friday the 16th we will meet at the YMCA, have lunch by Deb, a brief program, and then do our Spring Highway Clean up. We meet for the Clean Up at Terry's Auto Body 5132 Rice Lake Road. We have pickers and vests.  

 

A few Spring projects are coming up. We need to sand and stain the kiddo pinic tables that we built last year. We need to prep and coordinate planting the Kids Garden. The North Country Ride building needs to be power washed and stained. Schedule TBD.    

 

Guest last week was Harbortown Rotarian and our Speaker Nathan Sagar. Nathan is Pastor of the Spirit of God Lutheran Church and Chair of International Service at Harbortown. Nathan told us about the Cesarzama Health Clinic in Bolvia that was done in collaboration with Mano a Mano which has completed 83 medical clinics in Bolivia. Rotary, Rotarians, and the a District 5580 matching grant contributed $37K to the project including $1000 from Skyline. September 13-20 Karl Everett will lead a trip to see the clinic and the next clinic to be built in Anchallani. Thank you to all Skyliners for raising the funds that allow our Club to support these great international projects.  

 

May is Rotary International Youth Services Month.
