The Concert committee has been meeting, GB is booked, a date has been set September 7 (no snow or hunting) and we will be partnering with the Duluth Fire Department. An elevator speech will be drawn up for you to talk about when selling tickets, finding sponsors and getting silent auction items. Jay Ferguson director of the Hermantown Summerfest 5K spoke to our club about changes and volunteer opportunities for the race on July 20. Jay wants to hear the history and stories behind the race and how our club started it (thanks Clyde). He would like Skyline to be part of the race still by running, walking or volunteering. Dust off your shoes and hit the streets July 20 will be here before you know it.
